FedEx, one of the world's largest express transportationcompanies, announced today that it has successfully expanded itsground operation station in Nanjing, further enhancing itsinternational and domestic cargo handling capabilities to meet thegrowing demand of local customers.
The expanded FedEx Nanjing operation station is located onShuanglong Avenue in Jiangning District, Nanjing, with convenienttransportation and efficient handling of incoming and outgoingshipments. The entire operation station has a building area of over2500 square meters and is responsible for providing internationaland domestic express pick-up and delivery services to customers inthe entire Nanjing area. It is one of the operation stations amongall foreign-funded logistics enterprises in the Nanjing area.

The new operation station consists of an office area and astorage area, greatly improving the sorting capacity of goods. Itcan sort about 2000 packages and documents per hour, which isnearly twice the efficiency compared to the past. The operationstation currently has 106 employees and is e with 52 expressdelivery vehicles. Considering the growing transportation needs ofcustomers, this operation station has also reserved space forfurther expansion in the future.
